SkyWatch Friday

You must not blame me if I do talk to the clouds.
Henry David Thoreau
My entry for SkyWatch this week isn't stellar photography by any means but I thought the cloud action was interesting. Note the cloud breathing creature? These are some heavy clouds over Walnut Grove, Minnesota taken a few weeks back.

Skywatch Friday has a new home and a new format hosted by three intrepid photographers, Tom, Sandy and Imac. Join in the fun.
Happy Friday!

  3. Roofs of Walnut Grove look like Paris roofs. No! I'm serious. If I look outside the window, I see exactly the same view as yours.
I can see your creature, I saw so many breathing creatures today, blowing in all directions! It's terrible! ; )

I'm feeling much better thanks. There's just a possibility that both daughters will be able to visit together at the beginning of next month. My fingers are well crossed!

  15. What a great capture, only a true Sky Watchers notices these cloud blowers... they float around all day blowing out clouds and not many are ever seen.. you are very lucky not just to see one but to capture by camera... excellent...

  16. I have learned by the hard way, when the clouds start to look like an anvil, it's time to find shelter. It is gathering its strenght and starting the thunder storm pretty soon. Good post!

To live in the presence of great truths and eternal laws, to be led by permanent ideals--that is what keeps a man patient when the world ignores him, and calm & unspoiled when the world praises him.
