C for ABC Wednesday

This week's letter is C and I offer three flowers : Cosmos, Calendula and Chicory (ok, I know its a weed but such a fine and true blue!) plus a closeup of a painting by Mary Cassatt and a memory from the late '60's.
Summertime, Mary Casssatt, c. 1894

  1. Beautiful flowers - I have some cosmos in my garden and they're in full bloom right now - they look so pretty. And the memory from the 60s - well, that takes me back! Loved it! :D

Such pretty flowers... I just love the true blue chicory flowers, they grow wild along the country roadsides making a delightful morning treat.

  8. I hadn't chosen a picture of the month for August yet. I didn't know what I wanted to use. And here I found it on your blog. I hope you don't mind!

You are right about chicory being such a fine and true blue.
