Dawn--friend of Muses

This is the sunrise I saw over the Twin Cities on Veteran's Day last month. I took this standing in a mundane parking lot but was filled with awe nonetheless for all of the reasons illustrated, layer by layer. See more awesome skies here.

The breeze at dawn has secrets to tell you.
Don't go back to sleep.

  6. Interesting layers to your photograph. There are layers down the photo and layers into the photo. The colours of the sky are just the right intensity to allow the flag and the tree to have a say as well.

To live in the presence of great truths and eternal laws, to be led by permanent ideals--that is what keeps a man patient when the world ignores him, and calm & unspoiled when the world praises him.
