This neighbor has this Swiss flag up all year but now it seems especially fitting for the Olympic extravaganza.

Poor guy can't seem to take his chunks of coal eyes off the door with the snappy red wreath leftover from the holidays. [And yes, I meant to fill up 90% of the photo with a blank wall!]
In the cold winter (and MN is COLD), we cannot be prisoners in the house all season. So we get out and about, being careful to bundle up. Except for the US pickup in the garage, it looks like (my idea of) the Swiss federation, with the Alpine snows on the plains. Nice pictures, nicer neighborhood!
ReplyDeleteYour berries look like friendly red bombs! The coal-colored snow man looks good with the reds of the post.
ReplyDeleteThat TREE totally stokes me. The eyes boggle.
ReplyDeleteWhat IS that plant?!! Pretty!!

Oh that is GREAT! You found eye candy in the snow. What are the chances? Do I sound pessimistic coming from Colorado? :)

Those berries really do look quite weird clustered like mini parachutes in a snowy world! Great shot on this one! And the snowman looks quite an eccentric!
ReplyDeleteWow that tree looks great. I have never seen any thing like that. What are the called and what kind a tree it that?
ReplyDeleteThat's a really pretty tree. Happy Ruby Tuesday
ReplyDeleteLove the red berries in the snow. I miss the snow we didn't have this year.I shouldn't say that but it is true.
