On the right is how it looked in late winter before the leaves appeared. . .and much greener in early June. It is a lovely spot to look up at the sky in any season and once in awhile a deer will be hiding in the dense undergrowth.

It is always neat to see the contrast between the seasons on the same view.
ReplyDeleteYour birches are just gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteit is always so interesting to compare the same view at different seasons...both so lovely in their own way.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful trail to walk, - such a difference between the warm blue of a summer sky and the wintry paleness of the winter sky.
ReplyDeleteAmazing how the fresh green leaves make such a difference. Both are nice but spring is lovely.
ReplyDeleteBare branches or green; a blue sky enhances them.
ReplyDeleteA beautiful place in any season, any weather.
