ABC Wednesday zips along

If you have men who will exclude any of God's
creatures from the shelter of compassion and pity, you will have men who will deal likewise with their fellow men.
St. Francis of Assisi
Z is for zinnia. The National Garden Bureau has chosen Zinnias as their Flower of the Year. Visit their site for 53 colorful views of different zinnia varieties. On a local level I planted these to attract butterflies or hummingbirds.
Z also  marks the end of the alphabet for Mrs Nesbitt's ABC Wednesday. To every alphabet the end must come.

  4. I think your zinnias along with St. Francis are charming. I somehow missed your last post with the morning glory. I believe that is the most glorious of flowers and I forgot to plant them this year. how did that happen? do you think it's too late? have a great week Noni.

To live in the presence of great truths and eternal laws, to be led by permanent ideals--that is what keeps a man patient when the world ignores him, and calm & unspoiled when the world praises him.
