    My mate big Peter phoned me up yesterday, he was out walking and had stopped by a pond... on a log was just such a thing.. we do get this over here naturly, so the one Peter saw was one that must have been a pet at one time. He took a picture of it to post on his blog sometime. I am more happy to see these here, it's where they should be... not in a pond in the UK

    I do love turtles! this is a great shot. This must be the day for them. A couple of other bloggers have pictures of them, too.

    Great picture! There's something about turtles and their love of sun and warm places that reminds me of cats. Not that you'd ever find cats anywhere near water...
