Delicious autumn! ABC Wednesday arrives


We are already one quarter through the alphabet for ABC Wednesday bringing us to the letter 'H'--so I choose harvest to illustrate this letter with some photos I took yesterday at a farmer's market in the town I live in. It assembles every Tuesday and will go until mid-October. We are definitely seeing more fruits of the harvest now and yesterday one of the vendors was even giving everyone a free roasted ear of corn to eat while shopping.

    I love the posting, Harvest photos are awesome. I love going to our farmers markets on Wednesday and Saturday. Great selections to pick from.

    These are really beautiful photos. Every year Belgrade has sort of a harvest festival (I mean, since it's not a village, the stuff is brought in!) and features gourds, pumpkins, dried flowers... I love harvests!

    Wonderful photos! Daddy used to say that autumn was his favorite season because of the fruits and vegetables in the market.

    Harvest is perfect for the letter H. Love all those fresh vegies and the beautifully colorful flowers. Our farmers market will be wrapping up in mid October too. Sure wish they were open year round.

    I love your harvest. I've always been very fond of harvest-time. The colours and the smells are so evocative.
