Flowers by Fibonacci
Apple blossoms that would make Fibonacci proud~~found on a very old apple tree in Bald Eagle-Otter Lakes Regional Park
This spring's fashion statement: white with red stripes [enlarge for a better view]. Some things never go out of style~~visit Mary's meme Ruby Tuesdayfor more red beauty.
I love your reference to Fibonacci. When I was first a school librarian a math teacher sent her whole class down to the library with an assignment to write about numbers in nature. These were early days, before I had convinced the teachers that they should warn me about these things in advance. I learned about Fibonacci sequences in a big hurry, but not before some anxious moments. Never forgot the man or his numbers.
The subtlety of the rubies of the flora is great. It takes a mere amount of red to capture our fancy, the look of Spring in the Lad-o-Lakes is one of beauty and (hopefully) no more snow!
