Groovy Tuesday!

A red blast from the past that spells 'wanderlust' to me. Perfectly red-y for the road. See more rubies at Mary's meme Ruby Tuesday.

Wandering re-establishes the original harmony which once existed between man and the universe. ~Anatole France

  2. Sure is! I had a dark teal VW van back in the mid-70's. Went across coutry in it. Got stopped at the Canadian border (re-entering from Canada) and got searched. LOL Nothing to find anyway but it makes for a fun story.

  3. My goodness, this reminds me of my youth. We grew up with a pair VW Microbus, a 1963 and 1968. The last one was a dog with only 57 horsepower. This is a camper, but our later one was a ruby maroon. Not at all a safe vehicle, they however still seem to have a road wandering chic...

To live in the presence of great truths and eternal laws, to be led by permanent ideals--that is what keeps a man patient when the world ignores him, and calm & unspoiled when the world praises him.
