  5. I love Cannas but forget to dig them up in the fall. so far they've been coming back each year, it must be because they are planted on the south side of the house and rather protected. I LOVE Creme Brulee...

  6. I love that magenta-colored canna. That's a new hue for me also. We have one that is shrimp or perhaps a deep peach, but all the others are orange and yellow, as you mentioned.

  8. Creme Brulee - I love to eat:)
The canna plant flower is quite unusual. We planted the red flowering cannas for the Hummingbirds.
    Great pictures:)

  13. Curses, I missed your C post on Wednesday! :-) Those Canna Lillies are delicious indeed! What a magnificent color - they look as if they've been delicately splattered with crimson paint. So very pretty! And I love the white metal fence section it sits beside. They look so wonderfully old fashioned and elegant together! I never tried creme brulee in my pre-vegan days, but I just did a quick search and found a boatload of vegan recipes for it. So maybe one day this winter after a morning spent snow-shoveling (that seems a lifetime away right now, doesn't it?) has worked up an appetite for something new, different and really rich, I'll have to try making some!
