SkyWatch Friday in St. Paul

55Two views around Como Lake this week66
Up until yesterday we've had blue skies and sunshine in St. Paul. Then storms arrived, including tornadoes in downtown Minneapolis and east of St. Paul with much attendant rain today. Wildflowers have flourished along the lakes as well as much green algae atop which makes the ducks and geese happy. These are my SkyWatch Views for this week.

In a more wooded area around Snail Lake I found another rustic bench to add to Rune's Friday bench postings. Visit him here.

Lovely shots. Beautiful skies.

Pretty good for wild flowers. They look almost like planted by Parks and Recreations.

What a lovely place! I particularly like your first photograph and the flowers in the second are so bright and pretty.
The rustic bench looks rather low - sit down, struggle up!

I really like that first shot. It's like you're peaking in on a world that isn't your own. Great pics!

I have never visited Como Lake, but your pictures make me wish to. Lovely skies over gorgeous land.

That was a real rustic bench - looks like a veteran bench which has seen a lot of people passing by (and hopefully sitting down too).

I didn't take part in SWF this time, but I thoroughly enjoyed seeing you contribution (and we have had thunder here this evening, too).
