Now you see it, now you don't!

Just one more lake reflection photo--I promise--this one is important because it shows how the lakes are beginning to freeze up north here in Minnesota. It won't be long and the fish houses will be up and ice fishing will be in full swing.
See more skies, reflected or real, at Skywatch Friday.

Great time of year captured in this shot!

Beautiful, but all this talk of ice fishing is making me cold LOL. Interesting that you call them fish houses. Where my folks live in New England they're called bob houses.

Reflections - often more vivid than the real thing - like other things in life. Beautiful. We are already ice fishing here.

Oh Noni, I like this so much. The evidence of the changing season is so stark compared to what I experience. Love it.

Yes winter is on its way. Even here in northern California there was frost on the ground this morning.

Lovely photo, Noni. When I think of Autumn, this is what I imagine (not constant green as it is here)!

Ah, the ice that is forming! I love that shot.

A wonderful reflection and waiting for the deep freeze. It would be interesting to see the reflection in all the seasons, but perhaps you have already done that and I have missed it.

Your reflection is excellent as is the thin ice! I can feel the chill in the air. Have a great weekend!

We have seen ice (and snow) here, also. But so far it's not been too much of either. Beautiful shot; I don't think you can have too many reflections!

Sounds as though your winters are long and hard. Love the partially frozen lake and I'd love to see the fish houses!

lovely photo and it all looks so much like it does here in NW Montana right now!

I can see how the lake is beginning to freeze! This reminds me of a few lakes I visited lately that I can use for my SWF posts. Thanks for sharing this lovely shot, and have a good day.

I can't even imagine it being fun to hang out on the ice and fish, never mind I've never been anywhere that it was cold enough to drive on a lake. (OK, I've been those places, but not in the dead of winter.) But I love your picture!

This is a beautiful winter scene...minus the snow! It looks so cold where you are. Our trees still have all their colorful autumn leaves. Winter arrives late here! Thanks for visiting my SWF post.
