do not disturb!

Mutts/Patrick O'Donnell
As for me, I'm having a little trouble letting go of the holidays past. . .maybe because we're securely burrowed down in another Minnesota winter. Thankfully, in spite of the below zero temps, there's usually a bright blue sky. I can live with that. And I guess I can survive putting all the decorations away for another year. Its just the sweet memories that interrupt my intentions and my unreliable Libra laziness energy level.

In spite of the cold each day the sounds of birds surviving and thriving--chickadees, jays (red and blue), ravens and juncos--gives me hope and is reason enough to smile.

Few bunnies show their whiskers in the quietness of winter, but I've seen their tracks. More stalwart hearts.

See Camera Critters for more reasons to smile.
Perhaps I am a bear, or some hibernating animal underneath, for the instinct to be half asleep all winter is so strong in me.

Love the Lindberg quote. I haven't put any of the decorations up, but I have turned the timer off the lights outside -- except for the snowman ... I thought it was cold enough for him! :D :D

Love the birds and bunny tracks.

So that's why I'm so lazy sometimes! Libra! I love your photos. Wish I lived where there were pretty birds, but they don't hang around the suburbs of the big city too much.

This year I didn't even decorate so I don't have to put them away except for the ones that I took over to my Mom's room and tried to make it a little bit Christmas-y for her.
That bunnie is very interesting it looks like it is made out of wire.

I see you are a fan of Earl and too! =D

Pretty decorations, great shot of Ms. Cardinal, and very unique bunny. I'll bet it doesn't bother your garden!

Thanks for your comments about my squirrel.

Hope you have a good week. Stay warm!

All my holiday decor is put away already. The tree was blocking the window light - need that sun!
