'For Auntie'

Emerson said, “The eyes indicate the antiquity of the soul.” So stands this gate attached to a shop full of architectural pieces in Minneapolis called Art & Architecture, Inc. It shares its space with Cupcake, the shop I posted about on Monday. My fondness for gates prompts me to photograph them whenever I see one that touches me on some level. Speaking of antiquity, I collect old photos, especially from this area. However, I found this little gem and had to take her home because 2 year old Wenonah was captured by a photographer in Montana. Being from Idaho, that's nearly home.

Both G's eligible for today's letter du jour at ABC Wednesday. Stop by for a good time.

I am going to start noticing gates also. I don't know if we have any as beautiful as the one you posted, but I will have to open my eyes and see!

Surely a most glorious gate. A sweet picture - I've often wondered how these photos escape families.
