corn in July watched over by never ending clouds

I think amazing!! Is it cattle or sweet corn? Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.

How's the water availability, Noni? I've read of some farmers planting corn early and then the the unexpected lack of water earlier in the season than usual. How are things in your area?

Beautiful shades of blue and green in the first photo, and I vote for "amazing" in the second one. :-) I don't know why, exactly, but clouds like that always make me think of lumpy, melting early spring snow on the ground. (A cooling thought in July, anyway!)

Lovely photos. Sadly, the corn down by us is withering in the fields... The Milwaukee/Waukesha area hasn't had any measurable rain since June 6th. U.S. Weather Service has officially classified us in severe drought & we have watering bans, so even the lawns are crunchy. Hope you have some relief up there!

It is, indeed, and
despite the heat,
I am in love with
this summer, I truly
am!!!

I think the corn is
way ahead of schedule
this year, as are my
hydrangeas, which are
already beginning to
dry. Have to embrace
it all, as winter will be
here in a heartbeat : )

Happy Monday,
