Be it ever so random...

...there's just nothing quite like a Monday. Agreed? Here are my newly planted white pansies amply powdered with the whack snow we received this weekend.

From the ridiculous to the sublime, a treat for me from Cupcake, a great--you guessed it--cupcake bakery/coffee shop in Minneapolis. Meet Betty Crocker:

A cat with a butterscotch belly goes bad :::

Bean pretends to ignore her favorite snacks. yeah. right.

Finally. . .to Monday's credit, while I was in line trying to make up my mind at Cupcake--not an easy job for a Libra--this postcard jumped off the turnstile and landed in front of me. An important question for my heart.

Still round the corner there may wait,

A new road or a secret gate. ”

If I could open a door to anywhere... I would go back to my childhood house! Not a doubt in my mind...

Oho! Not more snow! The weathermen were threatening us with snow this morning, but I don't see any out there
If I could open a door to anywhere, it would be my front door, and then I would push my husband out of it and tell him not to come back without a job! A month of unemployment and already this togetherness is starting to get on my nerves!

It's a good thing those pansies are such tough little babies!

Where would I go? Good question, indeed. There are so many destinations on that list... coffee, blackberry pie at your place :^)

I've been remiss commenting lately!
That cake recipe is awesome!
I made a living for 12 years following North American loaf cake recipes, using cups & oil! That one would have been a winner!

You do write terrific posts.

Have a good week

I'd definitely go somewhere where they had NO poison ivy.

The Cupcake looks scrumptious.
Hmmm....I would have to think about where I would go. So many places I would have a hard time picking.
Thanks for the link I've checked it out some but plan on looking some more.
I hope your snow doesn't last.

Hey, I have that exact gate.

I like chocolate cupcakes without any frosting. Does that make me weird?
