Under a blanket of snow

We've had snow just about every day for a week. Today cleared and was breathtakingly clear with blue skies and brisk temperatures. Everything truly is under a blanket of snow, especially in the southern part of the state where they were expecting another 7 inches today.
Visit Mrs Nesbitt's meme ABC Wednesday, where we are winding down the alphabet with the letter U.

In two weeks I will be in the Caribbean UNDER the sun. I can't wait to escape the cold.

This is how snow should be, pure white and not a footprint in sight. The shadow of the tree trunk and the prism light on the second is superb.

Beautiful! But, then, until mid-February, I like snow. I especially love the blue shadows that perfectly match the color of type in your side bar.

Beautiful photos! I love looking at pictures of snow like this - but I'm sure I wouldn't like living with it! Clever post.
