V is for veg
from the local Tuesday farmer's market. Right now there are lettuces, spring onions, snap peas, new potatoes for sale plus these small, vibrant Swiss Chard and their Asian cousins, baby Bok Choy who came home with me. Together with. . .

a box of fruit!

See many more V words at Mrs Nesbitt's meme, ABC Wednesday, now heading toward the finish line of Round 4.

Look at that beautiful kitty in the box! ADORABLE! Happy Late SPRING Dear friend. Is your garden ready for summer? Can't wait to stop back and see what you blog next.

Very good, you can actually find baby bok choy in the market. On the other hand it is very easy grow. When we first live in France that we could not find any Chinese vegetable from the market and I used to grew this baby bok choy my own.

Thanks for your best wishes Noni! My grandson will call me Nonna when he learns how to talk :-)

Your veggies made my mouth water --especially the Swiss Chard!
My kitty also has to check out all boxes and laundry baskets ...cats are so funny that way.

That ought to add up to quite a bit of goodies around the table.

PS Thank you for the comment - fjords are like this, but we have a bit more traffic than most.

I LOVE vegetables! I love them so much that it would be easier to list the ones I don't like, than the ones I do.

Asparagus, okra, and artichokes - all types - are the ones I hate. Other than that, whatever you serve me will be eaten with pleasure!

Great choice for our V-Day. We had the first Sunday for our market this past week, but I missed it. You can buy all sorts of vegs and fruits and baking and home-made items at our market that is held every 2nd Sunday throughout the summer. Such fun!

Ah, what is better than fresh vegetables. I purchased locally grown lettuce at the nearby Safeway store today - recently had kale for the first time and think I could become addicted to it. Wonderful post!

I love the veggie photo. We are able to enjoy swiss chard from our garden now. I love it when the early crops are ready to harvest.
