From the fourth floor, this was my view of a rainy, Philadelphia sky last week. There was such a contrast between the pure gray sky, hanging mist on the hills and the abundant signs of spring below me. That's how spring goes.
Every spring is the only spring - a perpetual astonishment. Ellis Peters

You have a lovely view, even when it is raining!
That sound like my day, so I plundered the archives for my skywatch. The signs of spring waiting to burst forth filter through the grey beauifully.
This is so different from where I live now, but it reminds me of places I have lived in the past! Of course, I love that it looks like it is raining. That's something that is only a distant memory here in the desert.
nice shots
At least spring arrives quickly for you!! Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
That's what I like spring, rain, chirping of birds, the buds of a blooming tree, just the smell of a newness is what it takes to enjoy Spring. Happy Tuesday!

Nice shot!
I like the mood of this photo. it has an atmosphere about it that says something is on the verge, and it's lovely so typical of cool springs. and I like the blossom photo under the header too.
Yes, we had a day like that this week!
Our buds are juuuust popping out of their winter coats... barely coming forth...
The sky yesterday had wall-to-wall clouds, lots of rain and mist.
Today was much nicer, but windy.
I love the transitional seasons. So much variety and surprise!
Enjoy your spingtime!
~happy weekend~

Gray skies here, but the daffodils are outdoing themselves. Beautiful photo, and I like the Ellis Peters quote!
Wishing you sunshine!
Are you visiting Phila where my mother is closeby..yes it will come more miraculous than ever!@!!sandy
Great effects in this beautiful image!
I really really love that photo!
Yes, there's a definite green haze on the branches.
I'm intrigued by the shape of the roofs and the roof tiles. I would have said this was somewhere in Europe.
