Mix a little foolishness with your prudence: It's good to be silly at the right moment.
And two difference directions. Amazing how different this lovely gates looks with the change of season and vantage point.

Beautiful, beautiful gates. Your camera work is amazing.
great photos and perspectives of the seasons.
Wow just Gorgeous!G is for Gorgeous Gladiola
I love this post, in no small part because I have a real thing for photos of gates! (Yeah, I'm a little different, lol) I love both photos, showing the contrast of the gate in two very different seasons. And although I'm fan of winter (told you I was a little different!), my favorite of the two is the summer one, with that gorgeous honeysuckle growing on it. Btw, I had to take care of some business at City Hall yesterday, and the last name of the man who waited on me was "Peacock," and that made me think of your blog! :-)
What are those flowers called? I snapped a shot of them growing on a trellis on The High Line ...
I could never grumble about this gate in any season! HelenMacABC Team
Gorgeous gate, but I'm partial to the honeysuckle-clad summer style!
What a wonderful spot to photograph! I'd like to see the other two seasons, too! Have a great week,Leslieabcw team
