Aren't diamonds forever?

Last days of summer at White Bear Lake. The morning was trying to break through the clouds. I loved how the sun sparkled on the water--a sight I want to remember come January.
Sail over to Skywatch Friday for more skies to enjoy.

All that is gold does not glitter,
Not all those who wander are lost;
The old that is strong does not wither,
Deep roots are not reached by the frost.

Beautiful waters, Noni, and a nice capture. One to cherish when the snow is on the ground, indeed!

We were on the same page today for change of seasons moods. Love that shimmer on the water!

Right now I am looking out the window at the pecan orchards all around our house, which have been flooded for irrigation--the closest we ever get to an expanse of water here in the desert. The sunrise reflected on that water is the memory I will take with me into the coming winter.

Love your diamond water!

I need to get in one last fishing trip before it gets too chilly.

Noni, this is a fine picture, those quiet boats in that attractive light, really enjoyable!

Ah, yes! The scene is tranquil and quite lovely. Had to smile at the poem since I've been using one of the lines for quite some time since I believe in it!
