beauty from ashes

Last week, library volunteers were given a pot of mixed annuals to plant at home and I was lucky enough to go home with two 6 inch pots. Not only were the flowers planted, tended and finally arranged by work details from the Nursery Crew at the county correctional work farm but the final product was so lovely. Each pot was an equally pleasing composition of flowers by color, shape and height. I was especially touched to think of who might have created the ones I chose.
