Over the river and through the woods

We can only be said to be alive in those moments when our hearts are conscious of
our treasures.

Thornton Wilder

The season of the rolling out of pie dough begins, chopping celery and onions for dressing, listening to the cranberries pop as they cook, and all the while remembering those near and far with great fondness.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING

from my house to yours!

Firstly I wish you a great Thanks Giving Day for you and yours.

I liked the picture collection, much more than a collage I think when they have happy smiling faces in.. such cheek bones.. and a beuatiful smile that shows in the eyes also... ha! thats enough about him with the dog.. ha!..
Great set of pictures for sure.. I'm happy to see a Mutts cartoon... I have then emailed every day some are very funny.

Have a great weekend and thank you for keep stopping by my place.. you are always a welcome name on my comments.

I love that collage! Essence of the season and a reminder of all we have to be thankful for.

Your sentence about cranberries popping brought back such memories to me. My mom used to make homemade cranberry sauce and it was delish!
