You were only waiting for this moment to arise. . .

I hope you love birds too. It is economical. It saves going to heaven.
Emily Dickinson

Struggling at its full capacity, my camera got as close as possible to the always inspiring movement of birds, especially my favorite Red-Wing Blackbird. They are the first to appear around the marshy wetlands in the area after the long winter. We are fortunate enough to have a little marshland at the edge of our parking lot where I can look straight out my window and see--and hear--riotous activity in the spring.

I'm posting this this piece of heaven on Sunday's Camera Critters hosted by Misty Dawn. Stop by!

GASP.... my heart did stop. started right back up again though. You know exactly how I feel about these particular birds. Your photo is astounding.
I was just at Norma's... Maple Festival stuff going on... Maple Walnut Pie...'nuff said, eh? I shed some tears.
Then I wipe my eyes, compose myself and come here, see your glorious photo and am in tears once again. Thank you :^D

For me, it's a fabulous capture, as this is a bird I will not see in my part of the world. In flight aswell, with that flash of red, beautiful.
