Summer's memories with flecks of red. . .I was so taken by these
kites or
windsocks fabric art installations on Loyola Beach in Chicago.
and early fall at the Farmer's Market. I amaze myself at how clever I am (roll eyes here) because I actually wanted to post this photo to show the colors of those gorgeous heads of cauliflower. Red by any other name. . .?

Interesting fiber art at the beach and I absolutely love that purple cauliflower!
I love the purple cauliflower! It steals the show from the other veggies.
Kites are great summer memories.
So unusual that fabric art! What a clever thing to set up on the beach! Love all the colors of the veggies - yes, I see the RED tomatoes...! Happy Ruby Tuesday! :)
unique banner-like fiber at the beach! never seen a purple cauli before, it sure attracts attention. happy RT!
yummy liscious
Yum , I love tomatoes. The fabric art is cool on the beach. I do not think I have seen purple cauliflower before. Happy Ruby Tuesday.
those are great esp the first photo!
u may view mine if u have time
Love the art installation! But the vegetables are fabulous!
Fabric art and colorful cauliflower! Who knew?!!!!! Divine!
Such bold colors on the cauliflower - the white bland. these colors deserve to be steamed, admired and - consumed. The artwork along that great lake is in motion with the breezes on a warm day. Of course, these same breezes in the winter...brrrrrrr!
My eyes went straight for the orange culiflower and the red tomatoes. I only saw the purple after reading comments. All looks delish. HRT
Very healthy, a perfect entry for RT..
Come and see what I’ve got for Ruby Tuesday
Cool thingy on the beach, and I love those colored broccolis, too. =)
My entry is here.
Well, I'm going to call them flags, and I think they're great! I wonder if the purple cauliflower is still purple after it's cooked...
great photos.. Have a nice Ruby Tuesday!!!
Absolutely marvelous windsock, and the cauliflowers are awesome..
Well, you did a great job!!hughugs
Those not-windsock thingies are quite neat. And I spied a pile of red tomatoes with the lovely cauliflowers. Beautiful colors.
I love the farmer's market and the odd vegetable variations/mutations they bring to sell ..so much more interesting and photogenic than whats sold in the supermarket produce aisles
Love the cauliflower even if it isn't red!
GREAT reds...thanks for sharing.
I actually want that purple cauliflower.
Nice variety of shots! (I'm particularly fond of the vegetable shot, on accounta I'm a gourmand.)
Again and again I say, great photos!!!
