single owner, river view

This week has been full of *heavenly* blue skies. I took this photo early one morning as the sun was beginning to peek into the windows of the Riedel Farm Estate near where the Mississippi River cuts between St. Paul and Minneapolis. Looking out across the River from the farmhouse I was able to capture the last bit of the full moon and its reflection between the trees. All in all, a lovely way to begin a new day!
Visit Skywatch Friday for more beautiful skies from just about everywhere.

You mentioned in the blog comment that you left me that you know someone who used to live in Warren, PA. I know someone who lives in Minnesota -- in St. Peter :-)

Great capture of the full moon!

Love the angle of the first photo - long may those blue skies last (although still looks very cold from the smoke from the chimney) xo

Indeed a lovely way to begin a new day. The second shot of the reflection of the moon between the trees is fabulous.

I often wonder: What would our world have been with two moons? :-)

May I have been reading too much SF.

The river and the sky are both beautiful. I thought at first it was a cloud behind the tree, so I'm glad you mentioned the moon and prompted a closer look.
