a mouse or a man?

a rock or a rabbit? You can't scare me!
This cottontail was reluctant to leave the yard she was visiting due to all the snacky variety under the bird feeders. So, I got this look, oddly reminiscent of my teenage daughters a long time ago. Visit Camera Critters for more furry/feathered faces.

Last year, a cottontail sat in the same spot in our yard so long, I ran out to see if it was dead. But it finally ran away when I was a few feet from it. Weird bunny

Thank you Noni for your kind comforting words. I grieve, I hug my heaven and then I have souls like you...

Very pretty little creature! I know they can be a pest but my heart always lifts when I see rabbits in the wild. (We live not far from 'Watership Down' - could that be the reason??)

How cute! I wish rabbits would come in my yard. All we have are squirrels! Great capture.
