Good things come to those who bait.

Minnesotans fish year round [seriously!] so its not unusual to walk past a lake and see at least one or two fishing boats out. This cloudy day, White Bear Lake was loaded with sailboats. . .and then I spied these bass fishermen with a little guy in a red rain jacket between them. Some days red just pops out at me--and I have Mary the Teach to thank for that and her colorful meme Ruby Tuesday. Do stop by!

The land of 10,000 (or is it more like 13,000?) lakes is stunningly beautiful. Years ago I had relatives that had a house on a lake near Park Rapids. A good day of fishing was at hand for these, the little guy dressed nicely for RT!

I see the water, and I'm ready to stick in a toe. Or a foot. Or maybe just jump right in next to a sailboat.

I so love finding a tiny speck of red in a world of other colour! It always seems to stand out! Gorgeous photo!

Red does stand out- it's a good colour for life-jackets.

Great find, the important red spot in all the beautiful blue/gray scenery.

I have such fond memories of fishing when I was young. I really need to do it again sometime. Perhaps I should move to Minnesota.
