Being an inveterate people watcher, I can't stop myself from a) watching and b) photographing the watchees. These three were admiring Marc Chagall's paintings in Philadelphia this spring. I liked the progression of the smaller work and short lady to larger painting and taller women, with Erica listening and viewing. So, I present you V for viewing, viewers and viewee [me]. Visit ABC Wednesday for more vees.
My name is Marc, my emotional life is sensitive
and my purse is empty,
but they say I have talent.

What a pleasure that must have been to view - great composition in the photo!
People-watching is such fun and I love your composition. I hope you managed to see something of the paintings, too ;-)
Hi Mary Ann, I love that quote by Chagall. and your photo too. people watching is a whole lot of fun, and I always find myself wishing that I had more verve to photograph them. have you been keeping up with the works of Vivian Maier? I've watched that story unfold and just lately become almost too uncomfortable with the progression to keep watching. At least two guys now are in possession of her art and one is making money off of her. or trying. The original guy - John M. - hasn't yet tried selling any of her art/photographs. I've been emailing him about that topic but he's playing it close to the vest. we'll see what he does. but not to distract from her talent, if you haven't seen her photographs do check it out. http://www.vivianmaier.com/
He recently moved to a dot com site. I wanted to get to Chicago for the exhibits but never made it. Vivian was an uber-talented people watcher, to be sure. have a great day Noni. one day I'd like to trade farm stories!!!
I like so much Chagall!
Beautiful photo, Noni!
I love watching people...and from time to time get a good shot like you did.
Perfect choice for V.!
