ice, its not just in cubes anymore

You will never know how hard it was for me to download this collage showing winter's many sides. I can't even say the word winter without shuddering. But, art elevates and I'm willing to sacrifice!
Noteworthy are the Olympic ice skating trials at the Oval in Roseville, Minnesota a few years back, Pashka's frozen pawprint, an auger used for ice fishing, Bean dreaming of summer and a child's book illustration of Dutch ice skater.

Mrs Nesbitt has challenged us to post I's today for ABC Wednesday. Her wish is my command.

i know what you mean - I actually love winter, but even I wasn't ready to grab an icicle photo from my archives for this week's post! :-)

I love Pashka's frozen pawprint and the Dutch ice skater illustration best.

I agree, too soon, way too soon to be looking at ice! But the photos are warming not numbing!

I am sitting here in shorts and strappy vest in 30C, so you cooled me down with this collage.
Thankyou for your recent visit and comment on News From Italy, do hope you will call by again. I will not be able to participate in Skywatch every week due to the nature of my blog.
