In hommage to the fawns I've yet to see on the walking trail. . .and my first attempt at Haiku. I'm stepping out on a limb here but will keep working at it. Likewise, this hydrangea reminded me that I'm always in transition some way or another.
Happy Monday, my bloggy friends!

In the pink. . .Today's Flowers

Its Monday again and a 'golden' opportunity to share this pink hydrangea I see on my usual walk to the coffee shop. Since it grows outside of the fence in front of an equally lovely yard on the lake, I've been able to watch its slow, stunning metamorphose into autumn. The larger image was taken in August and the one on the left this month, showing the soft burnishings of the cold nights we've been having. Best of all, it is heart-shaped, which caught my eye in the first place. I am a collector of hearts of one sort or another and so I early on laid claim to this plant as well. Finders keepers, you know!

Please visit Today's Flowers, a wonderful virtual flower shop MeMe hosted by Luiz and Denise, where you will see flowers you could only dream of.

Happy Monday!
