Its Monday again and a 'golden' opportunity to share this pink hydrangea I see on my usual walk to the coffee shop. Since it grows outside of the fence in front of an equally lovely yard on the lake, I've been able to watch its slow, stunning metamorphose into autumn. The larger image was taken in August and the one on the left this month, showing the soft burnishings of the cold nights we've been having. Best of all, it is heart-shaped, which caught my eye in the first place. I am a collector of hearts of one sort or another and so I early on laid claim to this plant as well. Finders keepers, you know!
Please visit Today's Flowers, a wonderful virtual flower shop MeMe hosted by Luiz and Denise, where you will see flowers you could only dream of.
Happy Monday!

These are beautiful flowers.
Thank you for a Monday bouquet!
I love almost any flower, but I am glad that I have many hydrangeas in my garden. Some of them were originally blue, but the next year it became pink, which was also beautiful.
I love hydrangea - pink, blue or white.
I love the pink color and being heart shaped makes it even more special. I have a few heart shaped rocks I've collected.
i love drying them and bringing them in the house,

What lovely flowers. Can you believe we are still enjoying flowers? My gardens have never looked better. Frost is lurking I do believe. I just love your new layout on your blog. It is so beautiful and peaceful. If mine does an about face and looks just like yours, just be flattered! lol.
