O is for orange. . .otra vez

O for me is orange-red brick on an old building in the historic Czech Pilsen neighborhood of Chicago where my daughter lives. A close up behind the ornate bars shows a lovely stained glass window. My eyes are always drawn to the complimentary color of orange=green, in this case my favorite blue green/aqua. Call me 'umm, not very creative' but I've used 'orange' for every O round of ABC Wednesday. Oh well.

See more examples of the letter O from bloggers all over the world at ABC Wednesday, hosted by Mrs Nesbitt. Happy Wednesday!

If a thing works, keep using it. This is quite a classic picture, I think.

So glad you came & commented!
Was wee bit worried as you'd not replied to my email, but no probs.

Orange just has to feature in every ABC 'O' - you saw I sneaked two in - LOL!

Take care

Lovely.
I find myself being more and more drawn to orange and most all its glories.

Am trying to figure out what goes on behind that well used door -- kind of looks like a tavern, but I suppose there would be a sign or something... Definitely a well used door, though...

Lovely blog. I followed a link somewhere and ended up with a fellow (rather, sister) Minnesotan.

This picture appeals to me very much because of the juxtaposition of colors - orange and aqua blue - and the old worn look with brick and bars....
