the day after

The day-after-Thanksgiving was full of stars in the frosty morning air and then the sky exploded in these welcome hues. This is the sun rising over Sucker Lake near our apartment. . .a sure sign of a good beginning to the holiday season. See more beautiful skies here. Then shout Hooray!

I got a kick out of the lake name - Sucker Lake. I'd love to know the history of that name.
