Washington is a city of Southern efficiency and Northern charm.
John F. Kennedy

Far from the Midwest I was able to savor this moment in Georgetown last week as the sun set on the campus, reminiscent of a much older and graceful time. The silhouetted building on the left is a portion of historic
Healy Hall. Seeing a contrail kept me grounded in the 21st Century for sure.

I sometimes get a feeling that trees tend to look more beautiful as silhouettes....

What a beautiful, beautiful sky! Excellent outline.
Beautiful capture. And nice to run across another Minnesota blogger.
Surely JFK was being facetious though?
