If you reveal your secrets to the wind you should not
blame the wind for revealing them to the trees.

My contribution to SkyWatch Friday -- my favorite tree, the weeping willow, not quite in full leaf, shining flourescent against the bright blue sky last week. More sky views at Tom's place.

That's a beautiful shot! I love the glow of spring on the willow!
I remember our two weeping willows and how large they were when we had this office built onto the back of our house. They were little more than broom handle size when planted and when cut down the were hollow like a wash tub and about 3 feet through the center. The man who took them down said we were very lucky as they would have fallen in a hard wind because they were hollow inside.
This is a nice photograph of a smaller willow and one that works perfectly for Sky Watch Friday.
This is a very charming picture. Willows are so lovely.
Oh Wow i love the golden color

This really is a delightful sight.. and a great use of the colours we come across in nature...

We both agree on the wind, but I envy you the tree...

What a great shot! That tree is just gorgeous!
I just love your quote. I also love how Willows are so yellow before turning green. You have picked a wonderful tree to be your favorite.
A glorious sight! Lovely photo.
The yellow trees are really moody. Love the poetic feel from the shot

The willows around me aren't quite as in bloom as this one....very nice.
That gold against the blue is absolutely stunning.
