Two bright-eyed orphan lambs I saw at a wool festival last month. Their faces were almost more than I could handle: expressive, funny, beautiful...a real testament to life, if given half a chance.

What! You didn't bring them home with you? They seem downright irresistible to me. One of the highlights of our country springs is seeing the baby lambkins frolicking in nearby fields. (But a friend of ours who raises them adds, darkly, "But by November, they are ready.")
Cute ones! I better not think about how much I enjoy lamb!
Zamboni time is one of my favorite times. I like yer Duke Ellington quote too.
Orphans? Oh that is so said! :D
We always had lambs when we were growing up. We'd feed them with baby bottles and everything. Stop by I have something for you.
lambs are irrisistable. I wish I could raise my own wooly yarn farm.
The one in the back is smiling and winking at you ;-)
They look like they are possibly Texels or Cheviots... *sigh* I miss my sheep.
