In honor of Camera Critter's, I offer you the stealthy Great Blue Heron--ever the jaunty yet mysterious guy about the lake. I caught him with my trusty low-power camera from behind a tree, even though I think he might actually enjoy the attention!

Quite the dapper dude... nice photo!
Lovely photo as he is stolling along without a care.
Great catch! A very stylish size 14!
I love the strut! Great shot.
Great Capture! We have one that regularly visits our pond, but I can NOT for the life of me get a good shot of it. It flies away as soon as I see it. So, I sincerely appreciate how great this photo is.
I think it knows you are hiding in the bushes and it´s posing just for you.
Pretty egret.
The tones of the charming water. I like.
Better late than never! You can now finally view the book meme you sent me on my blog!
I haven't seen a size 14 since I was born...
I thought you were talking about me for a minute!!!
LOL!
I watched lots of Blue Herons on Vancouver Island but never capture a decent shot - well done.

That bird is strutting its stuff.
Fun picture.
Makes one feel like getting into the water with him. But no, he probably wouldn't like that.
You are so good at photos of wildlife!
