Since ABC Wednesday has reached the letter Y I borrowed photos Dave took on his 'bucket list' motorcycle trip out west this past summer. Part of his trip was in Yellowstone National Park so I've included the famous 'Grand Canyon' of the Yellowstone River and buffalo grazing in the Tower area.

Unfortunately typing with only one hand (fifth metacarpal fracture) for the time being prohibits me from elaborating on what it was like growing up and spending early adult years only a couple of hours from the west entrance to the Park. But I don't exaggerate when I say it is a magical and dynamic place!Visit Mrs Nesbitt to see other photos that showcase the letter Y. Happy Wednesday!

Indeed beautiful and I would love to see it first hand.
AMAZING landscape !
Your photograff reminds of me a famous picture of Gaspard Friedrich, tiny people in a landscape...
Lovely!! aloha-
A pretty and at the same time terrifying place. I would not be on a raft in that canyon!
I'm so glad to see you back! I've missed your posts. But what happened to your hand?
Yellowstone is a place that Otto and I love to visit - or to see beautiful pictures such as dave took. I hope everyone enlarges the second photo because it really gives a sense of scale.

What an incredible place! That canyon photo, enlarged, is awesome! Yellowstone is a place I've always wanted to see - but viewing it this way is a treat.
I do hope your hand improves rapidly - it sounds painful.

Great choice for Y today, Noni, as your husbands photos capture Yellowstone beautifully!
Was sorry to hear of your mishap and injury, but glad to hear you are on the mend.
Wishing you a steady recovery and all the best for you and family in the coming year.
There are no adequate words to describe that main picture, that incredible scene.
Hope you hand heals rapidly.
Thought-provoking scenery and quotation. Hope your hand is getting better.
