welcome home

In my weekly quest for the color red, lo and behold, I found some right under my nose. Since we moved to a larger place last September I've been able to unearth all things collectible I've squirreled away for the day when I would have more room. This wishful thinking, combined with a new--at least to me--interest in chickens [see my story about Buddy here] has filled up this 'chicken coop.' There's also room for some of the creamers I have collected as well as vintage crocheted kitchen items and odds 'n ends in some of my favorite colors.

This little nook of red always makes me smile. . .for more smiles, visit Ruby Tuesday.

you give me hope. that one day I will have the space I want and be able to put to use the "stuff" currently squirreled away in a storage unit. so it really isn't silly. whew. I love this - I feel redeemed. and I love that red nut-chopper top right. I have a blue one that was my mother's. they work wonderfully. you've got it goin' on Mary Ann.

Your display is so colorful. Love how the red pops against the gray.

I really like the cabinet, the weathered gray look is subdued, perfect for the bold ruby mug, and all the cool items on display. Too many homes have perfect hutches with glass and perfectly laid out. Nicem but sterile.

Your display is homey and eclectic. Stylish and cool!
