Wild Carrot, Bishop's Lace or Queen Anne's Lace...by any other name would be as lovely to my eyes.

I see many plants like this here in England, most as by the road side or hedgerows, I can not tell the differance as the flower heads as so similar... one or two smell beautiful..

Queen Annes' Lace so delicate and free gently dancing in the breezes..I
just want to stop and pick a handfull and make a crown for my hair! I may just do that! I love the wildflowers along the meadows by roadsides!

This is plant I love to see when I'm in an area where thay grow = not my part of California, unfortunately. Your photo is lovely - as queen-size funny bone says - like a summer snowflake.

I really love this as a filler. I planted it a few years. We don't have it much around here believe it or not!!

One of my favorite wildflowers! I grew up picking it in New Hampshire, but alas, it does not grow in Spokane.
