This week's letter is C and I offer three flowers : Cosmos, Calendula and Chicory (ok, I know its a weed but such a fine and true blue!) plus a closeup of a painting by Mary Cassatt and a memory from the late '60's.

Beautiful flowers - I have some cosmos in my garden and they're in full bloom right now - they look so pretty. And the memory from the 60s - well, that takes me back! Loved it! :D
Such lovely flower pictures!.
Summer in the City - and would you look at those mutton chops! Great!
Ahh lovely C post from the flowers to the Art to Music...

Yep, good memories :^)
Such pretty flowers... I just love the true blue chicory flowers, they grow wild along the country roadsides making a delightful morning treat.
Chicory as a beautiful flower! Your flowers are always sweet. Cool choice for a C!
Kisses from Nydia.
Chicory! My favorite summer wildflower... and a beautiful, nearly cerulean, blue! Great summer shots!
I hadn't chosen a picture of the month for August yet. I didn't know what I wanted to use. And here I found it on your blog. I hope you don't mind!
You are right about chicory being such a fine and true blue.
Hugs, Julie

I love the creative work of Mary Cassatt. I am still waiting for a cosmo... sigh.
