We joined a motorcycle group on a fund-raiser ride last Sunday. It started out raining, cleared but the clouds followed us all afternoon. We rode for over 150 miles on back roads through farm land and into small towns with names like St. Bonafacius, Clearwater, Hanover, Elk River and St. Michael. Enlarging this photo shows the precise rows of golden corn on this farm.

Those clouds in your photo are really impressive and to have them follow you for 150 miles is just special.
My Sky Watch Friday blog is at my Canon Pixels blog. If you have time I would appreciate your having a look at the sky peeking through the oak tree leaves.
I so love to come and see your photos. Your post on eggplant was delightful!
Ah yes, ragweed season. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that my sinuses will behave while I'm doing my schooling :)
Lovely clouds. I live in corn-growing country and love how the rows are so even. I'd like to take an aerial photo one day. ;-)
Happy Sky Watch!
Skyhigh! Excellent Landscape! Bravo!
Cheers, Klaus
Those are awesome clouds...
An amazing photo. And enlarged, it is even more so.
What a beautiful place to be driving aroundn with no car encapsulating you. Excellent photo.
Motorbikes are marvellous. ou can chase the clouds forever. Wonderful shot.

Hey, I think that clouds in your pic are quite same way like mine=) Nice SW shot! Have a great weekend!
Happy SF; nice photo with great clouds.
A beautiful photo, I love the country.
I love clouds like that and catching them over the field is perfect. Great shot.
Your motorcycle trip sounds so very pleasant!
I love this photo! It could have been taken here on our farm! I'm fascinated by corn fields and sky together!
Growing up in a city makes me incredibly susceptible to OPEN skies and meadows/fields .. I want to run across arms wide open like Julie Andrews in Sound of Music .. .but I wont sing, dont ask me .. 'cause I am totally tone deaf!

Truly lovely!!
Clouds following you sounds so good. I like the golden corn too.
Just beautiful clouds!
My Skywatch
I can just see Curly riding through this corn, as high as an elephant's eye! Are you sure this wasn't taken in Oklahoma?
Those clouds look like they are lined up for a parade. Gorgeous!
I laughed out loud when I saw your picture... I read your comment this morning but did not realise just how similar the shots would be... great minds think alike came to mind... the 'fools never differ'.. ha! I'll go for the great minds...

Yours is a fabulous image of sky and fertile plains, Noni!
I too can relate....to being an eggplant lover. Any old way will do, but the more simple, the better. Eggplant and olive oil. Maybe a pinch of seasoning.
I do love farm country. Rows of corn and rows of clouds to match!
A classical scene and those clouds...
Are there mountains away to the right that have created that beautiful wave formation ?
Love the way you composed that beautiful landscape with the swing of the rising ground. Great clouds, all the better against the green and gold of the fields.
Wow,this is gorgeous!
