Today's Flowers arrive

This dahlia is from a neighbor's yard full of dahlias where, seen in person, are quite stunning and showy. Perfect for Today's Flowers! Visit this site here and you'll be amazed at the beauty seen from many other avid, amateur photographers.

Work of sight is done. Now do heart work on the pictures within you. R.M. Rilke

What a lovely dahlia! This flower seems to come in so many different shades. Yours looks like peppermint candy.

I love dahlias but unfortunately so do the earwigs! I may just give them another try (I had the variety in your photo at my old place--very pretty :)

Wonderful dahlia! Yes sedums are beautiful too. It's by this meme that I had a closer look at this plant. I always took it for grantede.

it seems there are very few blossoms around here. I'm going to have to look harder before they all disappear.

I took some pictures at my friend's house and she has a similar dahlia! I gave up on them myself, but now I am inspired to try them again! I love the new look of your blog.
